Get to know us
Earthbound is a place where you can be true to yourself and come as you are. We're a community of free spirits, curious souls, and adventurous nomads.
Our Journey
It all started in the 90's by Steve and Suzana Gordon as a humble rock and mineral shop with unique crystals curated from Suzana's home country, Brazil.
We honor Steve by carrying out their dream more than 25 years later. Today, Suzana is the sole owner, making Earthbound a woman-owned business.
We started small, but still stay true to our roots
even with our 150 shops and an online site!

Earthbound Partnerships
We're passionate about giving back - we've partnered with all sorts of organizations from community shelters to elephant sanctuaries. The Arbor Day Foundation is a big ongoing partnership and a way we give back every day! We are dedicated to passionately supporting charitable initiatives that hold a special place in our hearts.

Earthbound has partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation for over a decade and makes a donation of 5 cents anytime a guest opts out of using a plastic or paper bag. We have donated close to $300,000 since we began this initiative with Arbor Day!

RACIAL JUSTICE INITIATIVES
Earthbound has been and always will be an inclusive, compassionate and safe space for you. Racism, hate, domestic terrorism and violence have no space at EB and we promise to continue to uplift marginalized communities within our neighborhoods, shops and home office.
We have offered donation support to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Stop AAPI Hate and will continue growing, learning and being better allies.

Surfrider Foundation
To celebrate Earth Day, for every tote bag we sold in stores, we donated $1 to the Surfrider Foundation. Their mission is to protect the world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Now, more than ever, the ocean needs friends!

THE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY
Proceeds from each Find Your Herd pin purchase were donated to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. This donation helped provide rescued entertainment elephants and previously captive elephants a sanctuary where they can happily live out the rest of their lives.

Mission 22
We designed a custom shirt in-house and for every shirt sold, $10 was given back to Mission 22. Mission 22 provides veterans with resources on dealing with trauma, healing and suicide prevention. 22 Veterans commit suicide every day and this org provides resources and tools to combat this truly heartbreaking statistic. As a company, one of the ideas we often stand behind is healing of all kinds.

Resource Center
We designed a custom bracelet and shirt in-house to support a local LGBTQ non-profit in Dallas, Texas! The charity focuses on this community and those affected by HIV through health and wellness centers, strengthening families and providing education and advocacy. We were able to contribute nutritious hot meals for people living with HIV, art supplies for kids, advocacy trainings, and free HIV tests.

Socks for Shelters
One holiday season, for every pair of socks sold, we donated a pair to a local shelter! Each store partnered with a shelter for the unhoused in their community for the sock drop off. Many shelters often request socks because it’s an item not often donated and is a huge need. We were so grateful to have donated over 15,000 socks!

Project C.U.R.E
During the Covid 19 pandemic, we donated $25,000 to send over 380 shipments of critical PPE to health care workers around the country.
